Dr. Vance True

1957-2017

Dr. Vance True, 59, of Danville, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017. Vance was born in Campbellsville to the late Dr. Elmer Floyd True and Dorothy DeBoard True.

Everyone who was blessed to know Dr. Vance True could attest to the profound love, commitment, and dedication he had for his family, and for serving others. During his 37 years of practicing Chiropractic he improved the quality of life of thousands of people.

He is survived by his wife, Middy True. Also surviving are his mother Dorothy True, step-mother Lila Rae True; three sons, Jason Elbert (Amber), Vance True II, and Devin True; a daughter, Courtney True Walker (Dr. Blake Walker); one grandchild, Chloe Elbert; one brother, Stephen True (Lecia); and three sisters, Sharon Gordon, Yvonne Hafley (Phllip), and Kim Carter (Bruce).

Funeral services will be 1PM Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home. Burial in Bellevue Cemetery in Danville. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 4-9PM, and 8:30AM-1PM Thursday, August 3, 2017.
