Jasper

Jasper is a precious 10-week-old gray kitten with medium length hair. Poor little Jasper was found in a local fast food parking lot. He was rescued by a nice person who brought him to the humane society. Jasper has a super sweet personality and such a cute face. He will make a wonderful life-long friend for his lucky adopter!

Opal is a beautiful 4-month-old Great Pyrenees mix puppy. It is probably safe to say that Opal will be a large dog when full grown. She is cream-colored with some dark points and big brown eyes. If you have the room for a large dog and the time to devote to a puppy, come meet this sweet and loving girl and see if she is your perfect match!

Did you know that Kroger Supermarket has a great program called Community Rewards? Each Kroger Plus card can be linked to one charity. If you choose the Danville-Boyle County Humane Society then every time you shop at Kroger and use your Kroger Plus card, you will earn FREE MONEY for our animals. We receive over $1,000 each quarter from Kroger thanks to the people who are already participating in the program.

To help the DBCHS animals you must sign up at krogercommunityrewards.com and have your Kroger plus card handy. If you are already enrolled to help the DBCHS you must RENEW your charity choice during the month of August. If you don’t renew then you are dropped from the program until you do renew. This is a very important income source for us so please help the animals and renew or sign up now! If you need detailed instructions you can call the humane society at (859) 238-1117 or email dbchs@bellsouth.net and we will be happy to assist.

Low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter surgery is available for pet owners with low and fixed incomes. Call our Happy Paws Clinic today at (859) 691-1137 for an appointment. Please help control pet over-population by having your pet spayed or neutered.
