Teresa Marie Johnson Lyons

Teresa Marie Johnson Lyons, 47 of Danville passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017. Born May 6, 1970, she was the daughter of Shirley Phillips Johnson of Danville and the late Billy Johnson.

She was a member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church, a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. Teresa enjoyed watching and supporting her children in everything they chose to do. She loved spending as much time at the beach as possible.

In addition to her mother, Teresa is survived by a son, TJ Lyons of Danville; daughter, Elizabeth Lyons of Danville and their father, Richie Lyons of Danville; brother, Eddie (Sharon) Johnson of Danville; niece, Randi (Adam) Bennett of Danville; nephew, Boomer (Hollie) Johnson of Lexington; great-nephews, Jase and Rhett Bennett; great-niece, Eliyanah Kate Johnson.

Services will be at 11 am, Thursday at Lexington Avenue Baptist Church by Rev. Tommy Valentine with burial in Danville Bellevue Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jim Duncan, Brian Darnell, Boomer Johnson, Paul Douglas Bodner, Tonia Darnell and Sharon Duncan. Visitation is 5-8 pm Wednesday at Lexington Avenue Baptist Church.
