Kellie A. Rosanbalm, A.P.R.N., an advanced practice provider, has joined the staff at Ephraim McDowell Neurology. She will be joining Dr. Maria Pavez.
Kellie obtained her associate’s degree in nursing at Eastern Kentucky University, her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Louisville and her master’s degree from Frontier Nursing University. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has a special interest in headache disorders, cerebrovascular diseases and neurodegenerative disorders. She believes patient education is key to successful management of neurological disorders.
Kellie lives on a farm in Harrodsburg with her spouse, Lea Ann. She loves spending time with her daughter, Alysann, and her son, Wesley. In her free time, she enjoys camping, traveling and reading.

New troopers graduate
FRANKFORT — The Kentucky State Police Academy presented diplomas to 41 new troopers at ceremonies held in Frankfort recently. Their addition to the force brings the agency’s strength to a total of 866 troopers serving the citizens of the Commonwealth.
New troopers from this area who have been assigned to Post 7 are: Toney R. Dollins, Jr., of Crab Orchard; and Jacob R. Shepherd, of Lancaster.
KSP Commissioner Rick Sanders said the addition of these newly-graduated troopers will help with the current strength, but does not come close to resolving the agency’s shortage of personnel.
