AUGUST 25

12:20 a.m., female caller said there is a fight behind the trailer in Junction City then hung up before more information was obtained.

1:19 a.m., vehicle stop on Techwood Drive; arrest made.

1:37 a.m., vehicle stop at Lebanon Road and the bypass; arrest made.

2:34 a.m., officer with someone at the Boyle County Detention Center; arrest made.

9:01 a.m., front door burglary showing at Whirl-A-Way Drive location; 9:13 a.m., clearing the building.

9:24 a.m., two-vehicle non-injury accident between a pickup truck and a semi truck at the bypass and Hustonville Road.

1:03 p.m., a male threatened the manager at Burger King before leaving in an SUV.

1:38 p.m., caller from Junction City wants options on retrieving his dog from someone who had kicked him out.

3:29 p.m., caller said tenants who just moved out of residence took a washer and dryer that didn’t belong to them.

5:16 p.m., caller is requesting to speak to Junction City Police Department about two males who are claiming to be JCPD off-duty officers and are trying to flag down vehicles heading into Scott County.

5:17 p.m., a male is blocking the turning lane near Five Star and asking people for money.

5:24 p.m., person is at police department lobby in reference to finding a notepad in his yard with personal information written in it.

5:31 p.m., a car is on fire at Blue Bird Market; owner is using a fire extinguisher but it is still smoking.

5:50 p.m., caller is requesting information about a weapon’s placement with a juvenile driver.

5:53 p.m., a female shoplifter is fleeing Walmart in a tan PT Cruiser.

5:55 p.m., vehicle stop on Denmark Drive; arrest made.

7:02 p.m., a male and juvenile male are arguing next to an SUV at Walmart parking lot.

9:09 p.m., caller at Millennium Park said a car and truck are racing in the park and she was almost hit by one of the vehicles.

9:55 p.m., vehicle stop on the bypass at Gose Pike; arrest made; subject hid narcotics in the cruiser.

11:13 p.m., a blue sports car occupied by four males is driving around Centre College yelling and swearing at people.

11:16 p.m., complaint that a driver in silver-colored vehicle is being very reckless; a verbal altercation has ensued with the male driver and several other who are have witnessed the driving.

AUGUST 26

1:19 a.m., Garrard County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to catch up with a black, 2-door vehicle on Ky. 34.

4:38 a.m., a 17-year-old male is out of control; arrest made.

5:12 a.m., traffic stop with the juvenile from assault in Junction City.

9:27 a.m., a multi-colored pickup truck is speeding on Alum Springs Crosspike and is losing debris all over the road.

11:58 a.m., caller is requesting police check on the welfare of a 2-year-old child whose parents may be under the influence; address is in Lincoln County and call referred to another agency.

12:24 p.m., a family member is at Johnson Branch Road residence taking furniture out and they’re not supposed to be there.

2:37 p.m., neighbor dispute just occurred on Bluegrass Pike.

3:47 p.m., physical domestic altercation involving a knife just occurred at Logan Avenue residence; two people are bleeding.

5:48 p.m., caller is reporting theft from an outbuilding sometime overnight on Harrodsburg Road in Perryville.

6:22 p.m., a male has fled on foot from the detention center; subject was released from rehab and had two hours to turn himself into jail; stepfather is requesting an officer meet to discuss options.

6:38 p.m., vehicle stop at Main and Second streets; arrest made.

6:52 p.m., a male has fled Parksville Cross Pike residence while being served papers; arrest made.

7:32 p.m., vehicles on Madison Avenue were egged overnight; extra patrol is requested.

8:44 p.m., two-vehicle accident at Shadeland and Swope drives; possible intoxicated driver; arrest made.

9:58 p.m., caller is unable to contact the father of a young child; additional caller is requesting to speak to an officer about a female who is harassing her and her boyfriend on their court-ordered weekend; she is sending threats and using officers for unnecessary calls.

10:07 p.m., caller on Stanford Road is complaining about loud music coming from a residence and it’s disturbing to hear.

11:08 p.m., a vehicle on Forkland road appears to have flipped several times and is against a tree.

AUGUST 27

12:52 a.m., a child is on the 911 line; no contact with an adult; contact made and everything is OK; phone has been taken away from the child.

1:19 p.m., traffic stop on the bypass; arrest made.

2:34 p.m., an infant is locked inside a vehicle at Lowe’s; tow companies not answering; officer’s lockout kit was not working and they had to break out the window.

3:26 p.m., smoke is coming from a house on White Oak Road; burn extinguished.

4:24 p.m., a subject spent the night in a concrete mixer on Roy Arnold Drive.

4:46 p.m., an irate patient is in the emergency room.

8 p.m., a male and female shoplifters left the Dollar General Store in Perryville in a black car.

8:30 p.m., caller from Silverbrook Drive smells gas in the neighborhood; 9:06 p.m., ATMOS on scene.

10:05 p.m., patient at the hospital can’t reach his nurse button for room alarm; police have notified nurse’s station.

10:28 p.m., search warrant served at Long Run Community Apartments; arrest made.

AUGUST 28

8:19 a.m., report of a stolen trailer from Riva Ridge Drive.

10:27 a.m., a commercial vehicle has struck an air conditioning unit at Subway on North Fourth Street.

10:56 a.m., report of a burglary on Chambers Cemetery Road.

12:46 p.m., possible male and female shoplifters have caused a disturbance at Dollar General Store in Junction City; per officer, the subjects didn’t shoplift there but were trying to return merchandise that was not purchased there.

1:15 p.m., a male and female are sitting on the sidewalk that leads to the back porch of a residence on Burckley Drive but the caller has never seen them before.

2:08 p.m., driver of a plumbing van is swerving all over the roadway at Lexington Road and Stoney Point Road; driver may be under the influence; arrest made.

3:44 p.m., officers to be on the lookout for a vehicle involved in a hit and run accident; the suspect white truck has been left behind a residence on Spears Lane in Moreland; suspect is now in a blue car.

5:31 p.m., report of a possible gas leak at the meter at Kentucky Fried Chicken;  6:08 p.m., ATMOS on scene.

6:13 p.m., a male in the emergency room has been assaulted which occurred near the Old Bridge area; officer spoke with both parties involved and neither one want to press charges; subject has been told to stay away from Pope Road residence; 6:23 p.m., additional caller said a male has made threats; male from emergency room call assaulted the caller’s brother-in-law who refused medical treatment; 6:32 p.m., additional call concerning an assault that may have happened on Gun Range Road; caller hung up; officer said she can speak with her son if she wants to know any information regarding the assault.

11:12 p.m., someone in a black SUV is throwing eggs at students on Centre College campus; unable to locate.

AUGUST 29

4:35 a.m., an explosion was heard in the Alum Springs Road area; 4:55 a.m., KU notified.

4:42 a.m., vehicle stop on Jane Trail; arrest made.

9:10 a.m., owner of a vehicle that was towed yesterday is trying to track down the keys; keys were located with the arresting officer who will drop them off at the jail.

11:12 a.m., caller from Workout Anytime wants to file a report for a burglary that occurred last week.

11:45 a.m., report of theft of jewelry from Gwinn Island Road residence.

12:38 p.m., caller from business is claiming a male pulled a gun on him before leaving in a dark grey vehicle.

2:04 p.m., caller’s grandson is causing a disturbance and is refusing to leave Seminole Trail residence.

4:14 p.m., officers to be on the lookout for a stolen vehicle from Harrodsburg.

4:28 p.m., there is a verbal altercation between the caller’s sister and sister’s mother-in-law at Magnolia Place Apartments.

4:44 p.m., there is a disturbance at Hall & Preston Family Care Center in Junction City; trouble settled.

4:53 p.m., officer in pursuit of a stolen black car on Hustonville Road; 4:55 p.m., vehicle on Shelby Street heading west and occupant threw an item out of the window; 4:55 p.m., passing Yates Road on Alum Springs Road; constable en route; 4:57 p.m., sheriff’s office requesting tow company for his vehicle; 4:59 p.m., officer in pursuit in Parksville; turning onto Mitchellburg Road; 5:07 p.m., in pursuit on U.S. 68 West into Marion County at 110 mph; 5:21, pursuit from U.S. 68 through a field; EMS and fire department on standby; 5:27; suspect fled on foot toward Craintown; 5:29 p.m., Mercer County unit advised the suspect may be armed with a stolen handgun; 5:39 p.m., Mercer unit said male suspect was seen in the Craintown Road area; 6:09 p.m., Washington County notified that suspect may be en route to Young Road; 10:01 p.m., caller from Craintown Road residence is requesting assistance in checking his home due to the pursuit in the area and the male suspect still at large; officer advised the caller there are leads that the suspect is not in that area any more.

8:08 p.m., a verbal domestic altercation is in progress on Streamland Drive.

9:35 p.m., caller from Advanced Auto Parts is requesting an officer drive through the parking lot due to two suspicious customers who were wanting to get back into the store after closing.

10:30 p.m., officer to be on the lookout for a male wearing a navy blue shirt and jeans who is armed with a handgun in his back waistband; he is driving a white car with red and blue lights in the front windshield and is impersonating a police officer; suspect pulled over a vehicle on Sugar Creek Road in Garrard County and may be heading toward Lexington Road area.

10:54 p.m., caller from Joyce Heights is requesting an officer due to the power just going out in the area and it sounds like there is a disturbance up the road; KU on scene.
