Michael M. Smith

Michael M. Smith, age 77, died Tuesday in Lexington. He was the son of the late John W. and Evelyn Smith.

Michael owned and operated Smith-Jackson Funeral Home, Danville and Smith & Smith Funeral Home, Lexington. He was a dedicated Funeral Director and Mortician and served countless families for over 50 years.

Survived by his wife, Lonnie Sue Smith, Danville; brother, Norman (Marsha) Smith, Atlanta, GA; two nephews; host of other relatives.

Services: Tuesday, September 5, 1 p.m., First Baptist 200 W. Walnut Street, Danville. Visitation: Beginning at 10:00 a.m.
