AUGUST 30

12:42 a.m., male wants advice on who has to leave a residence on Streamland Drive; assistance given.

4:18 a.m., caller has taken his mother’s vehicle from Saddle Ridge Circle in order to prevent her from driving; the vehicle is not stolen.

7:17 a.m., caller’s ex-boyfriend is at the backdoor and the caller doesn’t want him there; subject left before officer’s arrival.

9:07 a.m., caller from Randolph Hill said a neighbor has several dogs and cats that trespassing on her property.

9:45 a.m., caller needs to file a report for damages done to his son’s vehicle on Stanford Road caused by a truck coming out of the rock quarry.

10:51 a.m., two males in their 20s on bicycles chased a student across Kentucky School for the Deaf campus; they were last seen heading toward Batewood Homes; subjects were located at Batewood Park and told to stay off KSD campus.

11:32 a.m., a gas main has been struck on the old Southtown Family Restaurant; 11:57 ATMOS on scene.

1:25 p.m., officer assisting social services on Alta Avenue.

2:07 p.m., officer with a school official to do a welfare check at a residence.

3:34 p.m., a semi truck has struck a light pole on Skywatch Drive.

4:48 p.m., a gray car has struck a trash can that flew out of the back of a red pickup truck on Alum Springs Road.

4:57 p.m., officer attempting to locate subject from a pursuit yesterday with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office; possible address of subject is in Burgin; arrest made.

5:32 p.m., caller believes she saw a drug transaction in the public library parking lot between two males.

5:51 p.m., request for officers to be on the lookout for a suicidal male who just left Comp Care.

6:07 p.m., a male is laying next in the grass next to a U-Haul truck at Greenleaf Shopping Center; arrest made.

6:40 p.m., caller from West Secretariat Drive said neighbor’s dogs are running loose and damaging their downspouts.

7:46 p.m., a female in a wheelchair is going north in the south bound lane on South Fourth Street.

8:02 p.m., a bat is locked in a bedroom  of Alta Avenue residence; 8:06 p.m., animal control is en route.

8:05 p.m., a utility pole on Gwinn Island Road is broken about one-third of the way down from the top; KU notified.

8:08 p.m., caller from Smith Street is reporting the theft of speakers and amplifier from a vehicle within the last month.

8:22 p.m., a 15-year-old juvenile with a history of aggression and suicidal has run away; assistance given.

8:31 p.m., several males are yelling and cursing and causing a disturbance outside of College Apartments on Caldwell Street; assistance given.

10:31 p.m., a male was trying to enter caller’s home at Patrician Place; he was last seen near Pizza Hut; arrest made.

10:54 p.m., a juvenile has been found lying on the side of Lexington Road seizing; it is the juvenile who ran away.

11:28 p.m., two subjects just left a residence after attempting to sell narcotics.

AUGUST 31

1:46 a.m., a female is causing a disturbance at Goggin Lane residence; no contact at the residence; phone was pinging from Mansfield Road.

5:42 a.m., additional complaint that a utility pole and wires are blocking traffic on Gwinn Island Road.

8:35 a.m., report of a theft of a utility trailer from Maple Avenue.

9:09 a.m., request for an officer to be present while firing an employee; extra patrol is requested.

12:02 p.m., caller is in the process of buying at house on Duncan Hill Road and subjects are inside.

1:32 p.m., two students are stuck in the elevator at Danville High School; assistance given.

3:24 p.m., single vehicle, possible injury accident at Shakertown and Fisher Ford roads.

3:36 p.m., caller at Wendy’s said a male is watching her and her daughter; she is requesting assistance to her vehicle; caller has now stated the male left so she no longer needs assistance.

3:51 p.m., two-vehicle injury accident near Hardee’s in Junction City.

4:24 p.m., possible physical altercation in progress at Holladay Drive residence weapons are involved; caller is uncooperative and didn’t provide the type of weapons; arrest made.

5:33 p.m., two-vehicle possible injury accident on Airport Road.

6:29 p.m., a male was trying to pass counterfeit money at Walmart; he also tried to use the money at the Money Center and was denied there as well.

9:38 p.m., EMS is requested by Danville Police at Admiral Stadium.

9:47 p.m., a male who may be under the influence walked near the females’ dorm on KSD campus and cursed at the staff; they are requesting police to give him no trespassing order.

11:42 p.m., a female on 911 line said she is dying and doesn’t know the address where she is; caller hung up before information was obtained; phone is not receiving incoming calls; unable to locate subject.
