Boyle County Fiscal Court — 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12 in room 106 at the courthouse. Tentative items on the agenda include: Family Services; Economic Development Partnership; Adkev tax incentive ordinance; Wilderness Trail Distillery tax incentive ordinance; Bluegrass Community Technical College project grant match; Solid waste concerning Mitchellsburg convenience center, contractors and public works materials; Convention and Visitors Burea financial statements; EMS and consider ambulance bids; Medicare participating supplier agreement; firefighter assistance grant approval; Joint Jail meeting update; Fiscal Court July financial statements; and consider sheriff’s purchases of tasers and MDTs.

Boyle County Public Library Board of Trustees — 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14 at BCPL’s conference room for its regular monthly meeting. Meetings are open to the public.

Gospel singing

HUSTONVILLE — Charity First Church of God will have Gospel singing at 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 10 featuring the group For His Praise. Pastor is Marvin Hatton. The church is located on College Street in Hustonville.

CEO Davenport of hospital to speak Tuesday

The Women’s Network of Boyle County welcomes Sally Davenport, CEO of Ephraim McDowell Hospital, to speak on Health Care Today: A Local Perspective, 7 p.m. Tuesday at The Inter-County Energy Community Room, 1009 Hustonville Road in Danville. Clarification

Registration for the 39th annual Constitution 5K/Run for the Arts, benefiting educational programs of the Community Arts Center, will be 6:45-7:45 a.m. at Weisiger Plaza Saturday, Sept. 9, but participants may register in advance at www.communityartscenter.net/run. The race begins at 8 a.m. at Constitution Square Park.
