Casey County indictments

The following people were indicted by a Casey County grand jury on Sept. 8:

Shannon Lynn Christian, 43: first-degree possession of controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia. Summons issued. Chad Weddle with the Casey County Sheriff’s Office testified.

James Chad Peavley, 37: theft by unlawful taking between $500 and $10,000; first-degree wanton endangerment; first-degree criminal mischief; third-degree criminal trespassing. Bond was set at $10,000 cash only. Jerry Coffman with the CCSO testified.

Rabecca J. Hobbs, 38: first-degree possession of controlled substance, meth; first-degree possession of controlled substance, oxycodone; driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance; third-degree possession of controlled substance, Diazepam; possession of drug paraphernalia; second-degree persistent felony offender. Bond was set at $5,000 cash only. Weddle testified.

The following people were indicted by a Casey County grand jury on Sept. 11:

William D. Brown, 55, 137 David Drive, Liberty: DUI fourth offense; driving on DUI suspended license. Summons was issued. Weddle testified.

Ronnie A. Godbey, 29, 90 North Ky. 837, Liberty: first-degree possession of controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia; second-degree burglary. Bail was set at $20,000 cash or property. Weddle testified.

Jacqulyn Leann Hardwick, 26, 7465 Ky. 1859, Liberty: second-degree complicity to commit burglary. Bail was set at $5,000 cash or property. Weddle testified.

Michael Lee Padgett, 39, 1110 Cemetery Road, Waynesbug: second-degree complicity to commit burglary. Bail was set at $5,000 cash or property. Weddle testified.

Timothy L. Brown, 27, 420 Foley Road, Liberty: first-degree possession of controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia; theft by unlawful taking less than $500, gasoline; third-degree criminal trespassing; third-degree criminal mischief. Bail was set at $1,500 cash or property. Weddle testified.

Marjorie A. Skinner, 43, 73 Hall Lane, Liberty: theft by unlawful taking or disposition of property between $10,000 and $1,000,000; receiving stolen property between $500 and $10,000. Continue blanket bond in district court case. Weddle testified.

Zachery D. Grider, 20, 140 Liberty Manor, Liberty: first-degree wanton endangerment of police officer; first-degree fleeing or evading police; third-degree criminal mischief; theft by unlawful taking less than $500; receiving stolen property between $500 and $10,000; first-degree criminal mischief; first-degree possession of controlled substance, meth; first-degree promoting contraband; carrying a concealed deadly weapon. Continue blanket bond in district court case. Weddle testified.

Amber D. Smith, 27, 871 Bastin Creek Road, Kings Mountain: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia. Weddle testified.

Chastity N. Howard, 18, 24 Liberty Manor, Liberty: first-degree possession of controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia. Weddle testified.
