THEATER

Mare Rider, Oct. 19-22 and 26-28 at Jacobs Hall on campus of Kentucky School for the Deaf. The American premiere of the play, produced by Scarlet Cup Theater. Fashioned after an age-old mythology of spirits who hover around her death, Mare Rider is by Turkish writer Leyla Nazli. Play premiered in England in 2013. Directed by Tony Haigh, play stars Kristina Ives, Caitlyn Leonard, Walter Eng and Sharon Sikorski. The award-winning KSD culinary arts team will provide homemade treats at the Thursday performances as a team fundraiser.
