1936-2017

Gerald Marvin Wilcher, 81, of Danville passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017. He was born on July 17, 1936 in Moreland and was the son of the late Marshall and Sadie Mills Wilcher. He owned and operated Wilcher Interiors and Porter Paints in Danville. He served his country in the National Guard for 12 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Scott Covert. He is survived by 2 sons, Kerry Wilcher of Lake Worth, Florida and Kyn Wilcher (Erin) of Danville; 1 daughter, Karen Williams (Scott) of Port Allen, Louisiana and 6 grandchildren. No public services are scheduled at this time. Interment will be at Danville Bellevue Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home in Moreland.
