Flags fly at half-staff in Weisiger Park outside the Boyle County Courthouse Wednesday afternoon. U.S. President Donald Trump ordered flags at all public buildings and grounds to half-staff on Monday “as a mark of respect for the victims of the senseless act of violence” when a gunman opened fire from a hotel room above a country music concert in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Oct. 1. More than 50 people were killed and more than 500 injured in the shooting, making it one of the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history. Flags have been ordered to remain at half-staff until sunset Friday.
