JC King

1937-2017

JC King, 80, of Moreland passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Born April 18, 1937, he was the son of the late James Wesley and Monnie Frances Murphy King. He loved to fish, especially in Florida. 

JC is survived by his wife of 55 years, Agnes McGirr King; son, Ricky Dale (Angela) King of Junction City; daughter, Norma Jean (Lonnie) Spears of Moreland; five brothers, Bearl, Noble, Thomas, Lilburn and Darryl King; sister, Aline Coontz; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Kevin Lynn King and Jay Cee King. 

Services will be held at 1 pm, Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Bro. Bearl King and Bro. Thomas King with burial in McGirr-Sandidge Cemetery. Pallbearers are Brandon Casey, Casey King, Jonathon Asbury, Joseph King, Kenny Thompson and JE “Big Dog” Routin. Visitation is 5-9 pm, Thursday. A Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
