Dear Editor,

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our community for continuing to support the Great American Brass Band Festival and for giving me the warmest of welcomes as the new GABBF Executive Director. Each day, I am fortunate to meet people who share their beloved festival memories and express their excitement for the upcoming festival. It’s truly an honor to be a part of this community tradition.

I also want to express my deep appreciation to former Executive Director Niki Kinkade and recent interim Director Kay Berggren for their help and continual support, as well as to the GABBF Board for their invaluable guidance.

Also, a special thank you to the GABBF sponsors, donors and volunteers who have made this event possible for the last 28 years and will continue to do so for many years to come. I appreciate your contributions and I am thrilled to work with you.

Again, thank you to the entire community. I appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you at the 2018 Great American Brass Band Festival!
