Elsa

Elsa is a gorgeous 6-month-old gray tabby kitten. Her beautiful big green eyes will immediately catch your attention. Elsa has almost an exotic look. You really must come and see this pretty girl in person for the full effect of her beauty. Elsa was a stray but she is friendly and likes to be held close and cuddled. Elsa has been spayed and she is ready to go to her special forever home.

Lois

Lois is a precious 3 ½-month-old beagle mix. She and her siblings were from an unwanted litter and brought to the humane society so they could each find a loving family. Lois is a perky little girl. She is friendly and outgoing. Her favorite pastimes are tail-wagging and giving puppy kisses. Lois will make a great lifelong companion for whoever chooses her for adoption.

Did you know that each year approximately 2,400 animals are brought to the Danville-Boyle County Humane Society? Many are from unwanted litters or are surrendered by people who can no longer care for their pets due to loss of income, illness or moving. These are wonderful animals that have a lot of love to share if given another chance to find their forever home. If you are considering adding a pet to your family, please come to our adoption center on the Danville Bypass next to the fairgrounds, and visit the beautiful animals waiting for new homes.

Low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter surgery is available for pet owners with low and fixed incomes. Call our Happy Paws Clinic today at (859) 691-1137 for an appointment. Please help control pet over-population by having your pet spayed or neutered.
