Dear Editor,

Did you know there was an earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale in 2011? This earthquake affected the Washington Monument in Washington D.C., New York state and North Carolina, all in the same day. A huge crack appeared in the concrete structure of the Washington Monument.

How would an earthquake of this magnitude affect Boyle County with all of the gas pipelines under our feet?
