Police blotter from Oct. 14, 15, 16, 17

OCTOBER 14

3:33 a.m., driver in a white extended cab truck is driving back and forth on Sycamore and Mitchell streets honking the horn.

12:48 p.m., someone has collapsed in a ditch on U.S. 127.

2:56 p.m., a male is slumped over the wheel  of a black car parked at the store off of Perryville Road; arrest made.

5:30 p.m., vehicle stop at Highland Court and Centre Estates Drive; arrest made.

5:59 p.m., two-vehicle injury accident on East Knob Lick Road.

6:22 p.m., four juveniles are climbing the basketball goals and standing on them at Jennie Rogers Elementary School.

7:19 p.m., the lock box in the Advocate-Messenger parking lot has been broken into.

7:37 p.m., flames are coming from under the the laundry room floor on East Martin Luther King Blvd.; 7:45 p.m., flames are under control.

7:53 p.m., a suspicious drone is flying near Jane Trail toward the storage units.

8:06 p.m., there is a strong smell of methane gas in the Lisa and McKinley avenues area.

8:51 p.m., a male has been walking up and down Madison Avenue cursing and threatening people.

10:28 p.m., vehicle stop on East Main Street near the post office; arrest made.

11:32 p.m., there may be a gas leak inside residence on Hickory Lane; 12:13 a.m., Atmos on scene.

OCTOBER 15

12:28 a.m., emergency room is requesting an officer take someone home; police will not assist.

3:09 a.m., possible domestic altercation in progress on Third Street in Junction City; female left with her mother for the night.

3:10 a.m., vehicle stop on Hustonville Road; arrest made.

6:55 a.m. a pumpkin has been thrown in caller’s driveway on Waterworks Road; 7:26 a.m., additional call wants to know when a deputy will be arriving.

11:51 a.m., officer is to check on the welfare of an elderly man in a wheelchair who is going through trash cans.

2:30 p.m., reckless driver in a black SUV was cursing and giving rude hand gestures to the caller on Stanford Road.

2:35 p.m., a vehicle has struck a pole on Lancaster Road.

3:44 p.m., caller wants to speak to someone about her vehicle being held by a mechanic in Russell Springs.

3:52 p.m., two juveniles males walking down the street knocked over caller’s trash cans and walked through the yard; caller is requesting officers give them no trespassing orders.

3:58 p.m., a male approached the caller while she was outside on Kings Mill Road; caller took her firearm outside where he was at and he fled on foot behind the house.

4:42 p.m., there is a house fire from a power line down on the house on Shortline Road in Perryville; everyone is evacuated; 5:05 p.m., fire is under control.

7:02 p.m., officers are to be on the lookout for a black, hand-painted vehicle with an intoxicated male driver who is considered armed and dangerous; he may be en route from Harrodsburg to Stanford.

8:20 p.m., caller from North Fourth Street is reporting more threats have been made to him; complainant decided he didn’t want police assistance since he was intoxicated and he was afraid of being arrested for alcohol intoxication.

10:35 p.m., a physical domestic altercation is in progress at Northtown Apartments; caller stated she had a club and was threatening the other female; arrest made.

11:08 p.m., arrest made at North First Street residence.

OCTOBER 16

7:40 a.m., a female who is now in the women’s bathroom at Speedway bent over and dropped syringes out of her bra before going into the bathroom; arrest made.

8:18 a.m., a vehicle has struck a utility pole on Alum Springs Road.

9:09 a.m., a fork lift has struck a vehicle at the Salvation Army Thrift Store.

9:11 a.m., report of theft of cash and check deposits out of the drop box over the weekend at The Advocate-Messenger.

12:26 p.m., there is an out of control 18-year-old at Boyle County High School.

1:35 p.m., caller from McDowell Place is reporting items stolen out of her purse as well as cash.

2:40 p.m., there is a small fire next to the guard rail on the side of U.S. 127 South.

3:35 p.m., caller from Patrician Place is reporting theft of shoes.

5:25 p.m., two-vehicle injury accident on Stanford Road.

5:37 p.m., officer checking on two 8-year-old juveniles on bikes with a dog near Aldi’s mother contacted.

5:54 p.m., a hit and run accident just occurred at Second Street and Hustonville Road; fleeing vehicle is a white car with a pizza sign on top; fire department requested due to oil in the road.

6:49 p.m., vehicle stop on Hustonville Road; arrest made.

7:20 p.m., there is a fire in the bathroom at a residence on Nichols Street; unknown cause; 8:06 p.m., KU is on scene.

9:23 p.m., a female is causing property damage in a garage on Perryville Road; caller is afraid of the female; arrest made.

9:54 p.m., caller from Hilltop Road is reporting a suspicious smell coming from the furnace; assistance given.

10:27 p.m., a male at the emergency room in Jessamine County is claiming he was assaulted at a Danville motel and he wants to file a report; subject may come back to Danville after he is discharged or he may contact Kentucky State Police.

10:33 p.m., report of property damage to a vehicle on Kentucky Avenue; arrest made.

10:49 p.m., male is reporting a physical domestic altercation is in progress on Old Bridge Road; additional call from the female claiming she was assaulted by the male; arrest made.

11:49 p.m., an unknown person was seen going between two vacant residences on Jean Drive.

OCTOBER 17

1:24 a.m., vehicle stop on the bypass; arrest made.

1:50 p.m., caller wants to know his rights even if his name is not on the residence’s lease.

3:14 a.m., caller from North Fourth Street is requesting assistance with a disagreement with her adult son who keeps intentionally putting her animals outside.

7:30 a.m., an outbuilding was broken into overnight on Highland Court.

7:50 a.m., a physical domestic altercation just occurred between a 17-year-old and her mother; the mother fled the scene.

9:14 a.m., a physical domestic altercation just occurred at Sycamore Street residence;  subject refused assistance.

9:17 a.m., weapons allegations at Boyle County High School; false allegations found.

11:17 a.m., report of abuse to a teacher at Boyle County High School.

3:26 a.m., officer is helping to roundup a small dog at Maple Avenue and Hillcrest Drive.

3:37 p.m., extra patrol is requested for Midland Place area.

5:09 p.m., physical domestic altercation just occurred at Eades Avenue residence and male is destroying property; arrest made.

5:30 p.m., multiple juveniles are in the road causing a traffic hazard.

5:32 p.m., report of 5-7 juveniles are in the road at another location.

6:42 p.m., grandmother received a call from her granddaughter who thinks someone was inside the residence; juvenile forfeited some narcotics.

7:34 p.m., verbal dispute between neighbors at Meadowrun Apartments; caller stated he had access to a firearm; trouble settled.

7:38 p.m., caller from Alexander Drive thinks someone is shooting a BB gun at the mobile home; officer spoke with subject and told him not to trespass at that location.

9:37 p.m., caller believes he has located his stolen trailer from Garrard County behind the pawn shop.

9:42 p.m., a suspicious female is running through backyards on Hilltop Drive with a flashlight; unable to locate.

11:07 p.m., vehicle stop on Stanford Road; food stamp card from someone else was recovered; arrest made.
