Sue Lanham

1928-2017

Sue Lanham, 89, passed away Friday, October 20, 2017. Sue was born March 21, 1928, a daughter of the late Goebel and Ovie Yankey White. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Porter Lanham.

She was a member of Perryville Baptist Church and was a retired sewing operator for Cricketeer Manufacturing where she worked 25 years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Daughters of the American Revolution and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Sue is survived by her son, Tim Lanham, and two granddaughters, Emily Porter Snider and Kathryn Mae Lanham. 

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Margaret Wilson, Jean Gowin, Geneva Begley, Gladys Carey and Jenny Lawson.

The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 23, 2017, at Perryville Baptist Church with Bro. Doug Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery Perryville. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m.Sunday at Walden Funeral Home Perryville.
