John E. and Donna S. (Davis) Marcum of Stanford will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 22. The couple married on Oct. 22, 1967 at Bethesda Methodist Church in Monticello, Kentucky by J. Edward Schutz. They are devoted members of West End Church of Christ in Danville.

John and Donna have two children, Sherri (Jonathan) Eakin of Lexington, and Pamela (Bill) Gooch of Stanford. They also center their lives around their eight grandchildren, two grandchildren by marriage, and their extended family. They continue to be an example to those around them as they share their lives and faith with everyone they meet.
