Ronnie J. Moberly, 73, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. He is survived by his loving wife, Clara of Lancaster. He was born on June 15, 1944 in Garrard County to the late Joe and Frances Layton Moberly. Ronnie retired from IBM and Lexmark after many years. He was an avid University of Kentucky fan, enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling, and camping. Ronnie was a member of Gunns Chapel Methodist Church.Also surviving is a son, Ronnie J. Moberly Jr. of Lancaster.Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, October 23, 2017 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Rhodus, Rev. Jim Stegall, and Rev. Howard Coop officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Sunday.Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.Active pallbearers are John Underwood, Delbert Monhollen, Tony Underwood, Mark Rogers, Fred Edgington, Barry Underwood, Larry Underwood.Honorary pallbearers are Colin Powell, Woody Ball, Joe Underwood, Dean Underwood, Kenny Underwood.
