1942-2017

Amelia Joyce (Baker) Thompson, 75, of Lancaster, KY passed away Sunday, October 29th, at her home. Joyce was born in Richmond, Kentucky on October 16, 1942. She was the daughter of the late John Gilbert Baker & Anna Lee (Story) Baker. Joyce was the Pastor of Faith Outreach Apostolic Church in Jesus Name in Lancaster for 20 years.

Survivors Include her 4 Children: John Wesley Gorman & Wife Brenda of Lancaster, Debbie & Husband Terry Taulbee of Lancaster, James Gorman of Lancaster, Laura & Husband Mark Reynolds of Lancaster; 5 Grandchildren: Amy Douglas, Michael Gorman, Jessey Taulbee, Brianna Gorman & Natalie Reynolds; 6 Great Grandchildren: Hayleigh Taulbee, Autumn Goins, Michael Anthony Gorman, Lucas Eli Gorman, Ava Marie Gorman & Jessa Drew Taulbee; 4 Brothers: Russel Baker of Richmond, James (Bodie) Baker of Bryantsville, Mason Baker of Nicholasville, and Ricky Baker of Frankfort; 3 Sisters: Evelyn Riddle of Irvin, Brenda Rose of Bryantsville, and Nancy Redmon of Frankfort.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by a Sister, Rosie Smith

Funeral Service 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel with David Marsee officiating. Burial will be in the Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 PM on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at McKnight Funeral Home.
