Turkey supper at Fairview Christian

Fairview Christian Church, Paint Lick, is hosting a turkey supper on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. Meal will include turkey, dressing, gravy and all the trimmings, dessert and drink. Donations accepted.

Outreach to widows and widowers

PERRYVILLE — The South District Association of local Southern Baptist Churches will be hosting a free meal and time of fellowship as part of their intentional outreach to non-traditional families, including widows and widowers from 12:30- 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12 at Perryville Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 202 South Bragg St. A cash donation jar will be available. Thanksgiving and Christmas can be a very difficult time for widows and widowers, thus the South District wants to provide support and encouragement on how to “survive the holidays”. All widows and widowers, regardless of church membership status, are invited to attend.
