Mount can’t win with ‘Moral Superiority’ horse

Dear Editor,

Eric Mount once again mounted his high horse named Moral Superiority and thought he was sprinting for a finish worthy of the famed Secretariat in the mile and a quarter length Death Penalty Derby.

Too bad he stumbled right out of the gate. Tripped up by his entanglement with his other entry, the gelding, Murder of The Unborn, who is also listed on some racing forms as Abortion, ironically lined up right next to Moral Superiority in gate number one.

The favorite, Life Prevails, went on to an easy victory, having won every stakes race she has been entered thus far.

Mr. Mount vows to enter both Abortion and Moral Superiority in next year’s grade three stakes, the Race for Life Derby. Fortunately, with only one victory in the Roe v Wade Derby several decades ago, his odds are as long as ever.
