Arts and Crafts Bazaar

LANCASTER — The 17th annual Lancaster Arts and Crafts Bazaar will be held 9 a.m. to 5 p.m Friday, Nov. 17, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at the Up with Youth Building on East Buford Street (one block southeast of Garrard County courthouse).  

The Up With Youth organization will also be selling lunch both days as a fundraiser. The menu will be soup or chili, sandwich, dessert and a drink for $5. Proceeds from the lunch will fund activities for the Up With Youth organization.

Meetings

Economic Development Partnership Board of Directors – 8 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, at the McKinney Conference Center, Constitution Square. Items on the agenda include: introduce new directors; SPGE implementation; public policy, Kinder Morgan pipeline abandonment/repurposing; closed session items.

Housing Authority of Danville – 8 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15, at the Housing Authority of Danville Central Office. Agenda includes: executive session on personnel; approving annual and five-year plan.

Danville/Boyle County Convention and Visitors Bureau — special called meeting 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov.16, at Danville City Hall. Kyle Talente will present the hotel feasibility study.

Boyle County Genealogical and Historical Society – 6:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 20 at Jacobs Hall on the Kentucky School for the Deaf campus, South Second Street. Please note the change of location. Joann Hamm will lead a tour of historic Jacobs Hall and Museum. Visitors are welcome.

Boyle Board of Ed rescheduled

The regular meeting of Boyle County Board of Education has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Perryville Elementary School Library. Some of the agenda items include: consider accepting/rejecting bids for network cabling upgrade; 2016-2017 audit report; creating part-time preschool bus driver position; purchasing two passenger buses; approval of 2018-19 school district calendar.

Meeting change

HARRODSBURG — The regular November meeting of the Mercer County Senior High School SBDM has been moved to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, at media center. It was originally scheduled for Nov. 20.
