Open enrollment for health insurance

Open enrollment for health insurance through HealthCare.gov runs November 1 through December 15. If you do not have coverage through HealthCare.gov today but think you may qualify—this is your chance to enroll. Go to HealthCare.gov to find out! Casey County Hospital District Board of Trustees – 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16 in the board room in the Administration Building. Following the district meeting there will be a  meeting of the Casey County Public Hospital District Corporation.

Farmers bank to host Business After Hours

Farmers National Bank will host the Danville-Boyle County Chamber of Commerce November Business After Hours from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16 at its new branch located at 100 Garland Street in Danville.

DHS Forensics team selling Poinsettias as a fundraiser

The Danville High School Forensics poinsettia sale is now underway offering five varieties this year of red, white, pink, red and white, and marble (white and pink) and are $12 each. Plants will arrive at DHS on Wednesday, Dec. 6. You can pick them up in Gravely Hall from 12 to 6 pm. on that day, or if you are a non-Danville resident, they can be delivered to your home that week. Thanksgiving feast to be served

The annual free Community Thanksgiving Feast will be on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 23 at Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. The meal will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes turkey and all the traditional sides. To request a meal to be delivered, you may call the church at (859) 236-3565
