It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in downtown Danville. The city Christmas tree has been decorated in front of the Boyle County Courthouse. Twinkling lights have been draped on buildings and trees lining Main Street. And now, the holiday season banners have been hung from downtown lamp posts. Tuesday morning city employees, Patrick Carney, left, and Doug Holt work together taking down the fall banners and hanging the “Peace Joy” banners against an overcast sky.
