Winter wonderland music
In preparation for Hogsett Elementary School’s annual Winter Performance Tuesday evening at Gravely Hall Performing Arts Center at Danville High School, students held a dress rehearsal on-stage Tuesday afternoon. Under the direction of music teacher Valerie Hildabrand, all of the students in kindergarten through fifth grade had a part in the program by singing songs, playing instruments and even dancing.
Right on cue, first-grader Amari Bartee rings a bell during a song.
Along with other kindergarteners, Colwyn Reardon sings a song about snow flakes landing on his head.
