Nancye Lou Tate

1932-2017

Nancye Lou Tate, 85 died Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. Born May 29, 1932 in Burgin, KY, she was the daughter of the late Dr. G.T. and Mrs. Evelyn Ballard. She was a longtime resident of Lexington, KY where she and her late husband Jay H. Tate owned The Romany Shop. 

Survivors include daughters, Nancye (John) Daniel, Lesley Tate Lee, son Nathaniel Tate, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter and a brother. 

There will be visitation at Trinity Episcopal Church in Danville, KY beginning at noon on January 6, 2018, followed by a graveside service at Bellevue Cemetery at 2 p.m.
