Gussie Faye Burns

1936-2018

Gussie Faye Burns, age 81, Harrodsburg formerly of Waynesburg, widow of Franklin D. Burns, died Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Ephraim McDowell RMC in Danville, KY. Born April 7, 1936 in Versailles, KY, she was the daughter of the late Harney and Grace Belle (Webber) Howard.

Survivors include a daughter: Debra Buck of Johnson City, TN; three sons: Darrell (Hattie) Keeling of Versailles, KY, Warren Keeling of Springfield, KY and Donald (Dawn) Keeling of Lawrenceburg, KY and two sisters Doris Karnezis of Indianapolis, IN and Patsy (Forrest) Turner of Versailles, KY. Other than her husband, Gussie was preceded in death by a daughter, Dianne Simpson, a brother Harney Gill Howard, Jr. and six sisters Dorothy Cox, Viola Beasley, Betty Scrogham, Gertrude Smith, Etta Harley, and Starlene Wiecek.

There will be no visitation or services as the family selected cremation.
