Police blotter from Jan. 23, 24, 25

JANUARY 23

6:56 a.m., alarm is showing front door lock and smash and crash signal at Wilderness Trace Child Development Center; false alarm.

8:22 a.m., there is an irate customer at Bluegrass Auto Truckstop because of a minimum purchase required to run a card.

9:56 a.m., caller from Shaker Point Apartments wants to report that a male hit her in the eye with a hammer several months ago; she has been told not to call 911 unless there is an actual emergency.

10:44 a.m., caller from Rent-a-Center wants to file a report about a customer who is attempting to sell their merchandise online.

12:34 p.m., a female who was texting and drive almost ran the caller off the road on Hustonville Road.

1:21 p.m., on J.E. Woods Drive near the public works building there is a male and female fighting in the road; caller almost hit them; trouble settled.

2:59 p.m., Jessamine County dispatch reporting officers have found stolen property belonging to a man in Danville.

3:15 p.m., a verbal domestic altercation between a male and female has been going on for several hours; they were seen throwing objects at each other.

4:22 p.m., a gas main has broken in the Seminole Trail area and Atmos has shut off the gas to several houses in the area; everything is OK.

4:49 p.m., a female attempted to shoplift at Kroger and fled in a red car.

5:03 p.m., caller’s child has been receiving inappropriate photos via text messaging.

6:40 p.m., a male at Super 8 Motel has punched himself in the face and set his shirt on fire; he fled through the parking lot; additional call from female who is advising a male is hanging from the wall by Walmart and is yelling bad words.

7:19 p.m., vehicle stop on Jane Trail; arrest made.

7:34 p.m., female caller is reporting that earlier today her ex-husband held a sword to her neck and there are children in the home.

8:18 p.m., subject detained on Randolph Hill; two weapons found; officer is requesting to speak to a social worker on call; arrest made.

10:19 p.m., female is requesting who she should contact about identifying a body in the morgue; subject referred to hospital.

11:24 p.m., caller is advising that her daughter-in-law is trying to flee the state with caller’s grandchildren.

JANUARY 24

7:43 a.m., two-vehicle possible injury accident at the bypass and Man-O-War Blvd.

8:19 a.m., report that a fight is in progress at Comprehensive Care Center; 8:49 a.m., male is leaving the class and Comp Care is requesting an officer be in the area.

4:16 p.m., a suspicious male wearing all black with black sunglasses, black mask, trench coat and gloves is on Hustonville Road; when a customer saw him, he left the area.

10:07 p.m., a suspicious dark car is parked back by the maintenance building at First Baptist Church; arrest made.

JANUARY 25

12:50 a.m., there are three suspicious males next to a barn on Hustonville Road; 1:17 a.m., additional call stating the subjects are now laying in the driveway; unable to locate.

4:29 a.m., caller may have hear three gunshots in the Sanders Clay Circle area.

8:38 a.m., lock down drill at Boyle County High School.

10:31 a.m., there are multiple subjects threatening to fight each other on West Broadway; group was already dispersing upon officer’s arrival and no one wanted police assistance.

1:27 p.m., a male has been at car dealership twice today trying to test drive a car; the business has asked him to leave but he is refusing to do so; subject gone upon officer’s arrival.

1:49 p.m., a female was seen running from a male on Citation Drive; she got into an apartment but the male is still attempting to enter through the back door; the male involved called and said the female is refusing to give him his medication so he can finish moving out; options were explained.

2:10 p.m., adult male shoplifter in custody at Walmart; arrest made.

2:19 p.m., two- or three-vehicle injury accident where one vehicle has flipped at Harrodsburg Road and Faulkner Lane; 2:30 p.m., extrication began.

3:48 p.m., male at Ashley Way residence has active warrants; arrest made.

3:49 p.m., a vehicle struck a pedestrian  within the last 20 minutes at Walmart; no injury.

5:14 p.m., vehicle stop at Waterworks Road and Lexington Road; arrest made.

6:18 p.m., security is about to approach a female shoplifter at Walmart; she has fled before; arrest made.

8:14 p.m., vehicle stop on bypass; arrest made.

9:14 p.m., a female is walking to Walmart on the bypass; arrest made.

10:28 p.m., arrest made on East Broadway.
