Bugg named to Vanderbilt dean’s list
Mary-Scott Bugg, a junior at Vanderbilt University, was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester.
The dean’s list recognizes outstanding academic performance in a semester. Students are named to the dean’s list when they earn a grade point average of at least 3.500 while carrying 12 or more graded hours.
Bugg is majoring in medicine, health and society. She is the daughter of Gary and Virginia Bugg of Danville.
Imfeld achieves dean’s honor list
Gabrielle Imfeld of Danville was recognized for achieving the dean’s honor list at Cedarville University. This recognition required Imfeld to maintain above a 3.75 GPA for the semester.
Cedarville University, located between Dayton and Columbus, Ohio is an accredited, Christ-centered, Baptist institution with an enrollment of 3,963 undergraduate, graduate, and online students in more than 150 areas of study.
Carnes named to dean’s list at Samford University for the fall semester
Madison E. Carnes of Stanford was named to the fall 2017 dean’s list at Samford University. Carnes is a freshman nursing major.
Samford releases dean’s lists after the close of the fall and spring semesters each academic year. To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. Dean’s List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.
Baxter graduates from Samford University
Lee Sullivan Baxter of Harrodsburg graduated from Samford University during recent commencement exercises. Baxter earned a Master of Science from School of Public Health.
