Rodger Alan Cox

1963-2018

Rodger Alan Cox, 55, of Stanford, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at home. 

He was born February 8, 1963, to Edith Moser Cox of Stanford, KY and the late Ronald Hughs Cox. He was a former employee of ABEL Systems in Cincinnati, OH and a member of Freedom Baptist Church. 

In addition to his mother, survivors include two sons, Ryan Clay Cox and Logan Rylee Cox both of Cincinnati, OH; one brother, William “Rusty” Cox (Tina) of Danville, KY; one niece, Courtney Cox Snider; and one nephew, Charlie Cox. 

He was preceded in death by his father. 

Visitation will be Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford from 5-8 p.m. 

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 at the funeral home with Rev. Jeremy Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford.
