Marie Rose Vaught

1930-2018

Marie Rose Vaught, 87, of Danville, passed away February 14, 2018 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Bobby. Marie was born on August 21, 1930 in Ahmeek, Michigan, to the late Charles and Rose Jannotte Regis. She retired after thirty-seven years at AT&T. Marie enjoyed cooking, volunteering, and UK sports. Marie was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church 

Surviving are three sons, Robby Vaught (Lorrie) of New Mexico, Billy Vaught of Danville, and James Vaught (Maria) of Alexandria, Virginia; daughters, Pam Vaught of Danville and Janeen Vaught of Danville; five grandchildren, David Vaught, Lisa Huffman, Brent Watts, Kayla Preston, and C.J. Vaught; five great-grandchildren, Aedyn Huffman, Abagale Huffman, Marley Kinley, Amari Kinley, and Makani Kinley. 

Marie was preceded in death by two sons, Steve Vaught and Bryan Vaught; a brother, Joseph Regis, and a sister, Theresa Beckman. 

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2018 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. 

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Chapel and 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, KY.
