Pets of the week

Our featured pets for this week are Sushi and Woody.
Sushi is a very pretty one-year-old tabby and white kitty. She was a friendly stray that was brought to the humane society for a fresh start. Sushi has gorgeous amber eyes and a very gentle nature. She is very accepting of new people, and likes to give a little chirp as her personal greeting. This sweet girl will make a wonderful companion for most any home looking for a forever feline friend.
Woody is a precious 14-week-old mixed breed puppy. He’s a handsome brindle color with flashy white markings including a cute little snip on his nose. By the size of his feet, it looks like Woody will be a medium or large sized dog when full grown. He has a sweet disposition and likes to cuddle and play with puppy toys. Woody will make a great family pet if you choose him for adoption.
Not ready or able to adopt at this time but want to help the homeless animals? You can donate much needed supplies such as used blankets and towels, bleach, liquid laundry detergent, dish soap, paper towels, hand sanitizer, hand soap and cat litter. Monetary donations are always appreciated and will be used where most needed to help the animals.
Low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter surgery is available for pet owners with low and fixed incomes. Call our Happy Paws Clinic today at (859) 691-1137 for an appointment. Please help control pet over-population by having your pet spayed or neutered.
