Mercer grand jury hands up indictments on seven

The following people were indicted by a Mercer County grand jury on March 14:
• Tonia Stinnett, 44, 1225 Talmage Mayo Road: knowingly exploiting an adult more than $300. Bail was set at $10,000. Scott Elder with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office testified.
• Nicholas Rossoll, 29, 583 Meadowbrook Lane: first-degree trafficking in controlled substance, heroin; first-degree trafficking in controlled substance, methamphetamine. Bail was set at $10,000. Chris Perkins with the Harrodsburg Police Department testified.
• Mary Watkins, 52, 106 Brack Blythe Road, Clay City: trafficking in marijuana second offense; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $5,000. Aaron Steele with the HPD testified.
• Brian Wheeler, 24, 3656 Keene Troy Pike, Versailles: two counts receiving stolen property between $500 and $10,000. Bail was set at $5,000. Elder testified.
• Michael Moore, 42, 916 Riverside Drive: driving under the influence of intoxicants fourth or more offense; third-degree terroristic threatening; possession of open alcohol container in vehicle. Bail was set at $5,000. T.J. Godbey with the HPD testified.
• Carol Whitehouse, 56, 303 Forest Ave., Danville: five counts second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument when she possessed forged checks drawn on Whitaker Bank for the amounts of $344, $144, $347, $247 and $247; knowingly exploiting an adult more than $300. Bail was set at $20,000. Elder testified.
• Cari Simpson, 33, 120 Chilton Lane: second-degree escape when she escaped the home incarceration program and is a persistent felony offender. Bail was set at $20,000. Derek Benge with probation and parole office testified.
