We are writing to offer our wholehearted support for Brian Wofford, candidate for Boyle County Jailer. Beyond a doubt, Brian is the most qualified and experienced candidate for jailer.

Brian served in the United States Marine Corps and is a Desert Storm veteran. He has worked effectively in our community for 16 years. He brings excellent credentials to this position, with a bachelor’s degree from EKU and over 20 years in law enforcement, consisting of five years with the Lexington Police Department, 12 years in the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office and four years at the Boyle County Detention Center.

We have known Brian for 16 years, first as a member of the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office and as a friend. In our years of working with Brian at the sheriff’s office, we have found him completely trustworthy, dedicated and ethical.

As a man, Brian exemplifies honesty, fairness, holds strong family values and a Christian worldview. As jailer, he will represent the people of Boyle County honorably, reduce taxpayer liability and make the jail an asset to the community.

Brian Wofford has a common-sense approach and the drive needed to make a difference in the future of our jail. We cannot stress enough our confidence in Brian Wofford. We ask you to vote for Brian Wofford for jailer on May 22.
