New leadership is needed at the Boyle County jail, and Rita Douglas is the best candidate for the job. Her education includes a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, sociology and juvenile justice.

She has worked in corrections for many years, most recently in administrative positions at Northpoint Training Center. With her education and career in corrections, Rita is the ideal candidate for jailer. (Note: Corrections and law enforcement are two separate career paths.)

Rita will be speaking at the Republican Rally on Thursday, May 10, which will run from 7 to 9 p.m. at Inter-County Energy, 1009 Hustonville Road. Come hear her specific ideas for better management of the Boyle County jail. You will see what I mean!
