Linda Cheryl Hadden

1948-2018

Linda Cheryl Hadden (born Cocanougher) died peacefully on May 3rd in Lexington. She was 69.

Linda was born in Danville on May 17, 1948. She grew up in Lancaster with her three brothers, Cokey, Bobby and Paul. She received an advanced teaching degree from the University of Kentucky. Linda was a loving mother, grandmother and teacher. Her passion was helping children. She served as a youth leader at Centenary United Methodist Church and as a teacher at the Christian Children’s Home and Danville High School.

Linda is survived by her son, Shane and her three granddaughters.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 12 at Faith Lutheran Church, 1000 Tates Creek Road, Lexington. A reception will follow the service. All are invited to attend to celebrate Linda’s life.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Linda Hadden memorial fund at Faith Lutheran Church. The funds will be used to support disadvantaged youth.
