Memorial scholarship winner: Juliana Lamb was chosen as the winner of the sixth Danielle Thomas Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. The scholarship was created following the death of Danielle Thomas, Class of 2003, who was a six-year member of the Boyle County Marching Rebels playing the alto saxophone. The scholarship is awarded annually to a senior band student who plans to major in music education in college. Juliana plans to attend Western Kentucky University and major in Music Education with plans to become a high school band director.
