Chamber regional business after

hours at Camp Horsin’ Around

Camp Horsin’ Around is hosting the Chamber of Commerce regional business after hours from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 17. Members of Boyle, Garrard, Lincoln and Mercer counties’ chambers will be present for networking. Camp Horsin’ Around is located at 1159 Claunch Road, Perryville. There will also be tours of the facility and refreshments will be served.

Ky. Solar meeting open to the public

The 2018 Kentucky Solar Energy Society annual meeting will be held 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 19 at Wilderness Trace Solar, located at 70 Stewarts Lane North (on the bypass, next to the Boyle County Jail). The meeting is free.

Anyone interested in solar and renewable energy in Kentucky is invited to attend the KYSES annual meeting. Lunch will be provided. The keynote speaker is former Kentucky State Auditor and current solar activist, Adam Edelen.

Following the meeting there will be a tour of several local solar sites.

The Kentucky Solar Energy Society (KySES) was formed in 2007 by solar enthusiasts and professionals to inform, educate and advocate in Kentucky on issues of energy conservation, energy efficiency, solar and other renewables. For more information go to kyses.org or call (859) 439-0620.

Housing Authority of Danville – 8 a.m., Tuesday, May 15, at Housing Authority of Danville Central Office, 1014 Rosemont Ave. Agenda includes: approval of minutes, bills paid for April, collection loss for May, FYE 2018 Operating Budget Revision 2 (final); approval of FYE 2019 Operating Budget Revision 1. Other items to be considered: vacancy list, resident services report, residents newsletter, June site tour.

Perryville City Council — 5 p.m. Thursday, May 17  at the Perryville community center. Agenda for the special-called meeting includes first reading of the 2018-2019 budget.

Danville-Boyle County Airport Board – 6 p.m. Thursday, May 17 at the airport.
