Ruby Ellen Milburn

1927-2018

Ruby Ellen Milburn, age 90, went home to be with the Lord, May 12, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Mimia C. Munday and the widow of the late Johnny Milburn. She was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Milburn; a son-in-law, Rue Logue; one sister; and three brothers.

She is survived by one daughter, Pat (Jim) Crouch; two sons, Ronnie (Diane) Milburn and Kenny (Leonna) Milburn; and daughter-in-law, Karen (Joey) Rice; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. 

Ruby was retired from Palm Beach and a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. She loved her flowers, but most of all being with her family and friends. You were always invited to her dining room table and she wanted to have what each family member liked, especially fried chicken. She had a sense of humor and a smile for all.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home. Celebration of Life service will be Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Kevin Milburn, grandson, officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and honorary pallbearers will be great grandchildren.
