Marion “Lee” King

Marion “Lee” King, 53, passed away Thursday May 17, 2018. Lee was born March 20, 1965 in Danville, Kentucky, a son of Joseph Franklin King and the late Martha Rose Baker King.
Lee attended Mitchellsburg Baptist Church and enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing. He liked to listen to Rock and Roll music and was a UK Basketball fan. His family most enjoyed his sense of humor.
Lee is survived by two sons, Joshua Lee King, Sean C. Burton, step-son Marcus Andrew Pike, granddaughter Kinley Barker, sisters Crystal and Renee King, brother Steven King, three nieces Carla Jo Thompson, Angela Boyd, Jessica Thompson, Josh’s mom Melissa Southerland and Sean’s mom Sherry Mattingly.
In addition to his mother, Lee was preceded in death by his step-mother Mary Etta Watkins King and a brother Frankie King.
The funeral service will be 11:00a.m., Tuesday May 22, 2018 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville with Johnny Montgomery and Larry Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Pike Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 – 8:00 p.m., Monday May 21, 2018 at Walden Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Gary Thompson, Gary, John, Marcus Pike, Ralph Bays and Justin Burton.
