Arden Rose Sawtelle, 8 years old, of Danville, KY, died on May 25th, 2018. Arden was a lover of animals — especially foxes. She enjoyed arts and crafts and Woodlawn Elementary where she was in 2nd grade. She loved, and was loved by, her great God and King and for quite some time had been eager to join Him in Heaven. She is survived by her parents Jonathan and Kelly Sawtelle, her younger sister, Austyn, grandparents Steve and Kathy Sawtelle of Lander, Wyoming, and Ed and Sharon Shaw of Elberton, Georgia, great grandparents Donald Sawtelle and Frances O’Rourke.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 31st at Centenary United Methodists Church with Rev. Shane Terrell – all are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to chadtough.org — a foundation dedicated to funding research for a DIPG cure or homes4pets.org – the Danville-Boyle County Humane Society.
