FRANKFORT – Rep. Daniel Elliott, R-Danville, has announced that over $100,000 for future road resurfacing projects will be spent in Boyle County.

Gov. Matt Bevin recently approved $56,000 to resurface Whites Lane and $56,000 to resurface Cocanougher Lane. Both are major roads in the Boyle County area. The funding will come out of the governor’s discretionary fund.

“I want to thank Governor Matt Bevin for using his discretion to repair these important roads,” Rep. Daniel Elliott said. “These roads are used on a daily basis and it is of the utmost importance that they are kept in pristine shape.”
