Ruby A. Young

1921-2018

Ruby A. Young, 96, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018. She was born in Boyle County on November 17, 1921, a daughter of the late Shelby and Ila Hair Arnold and was the widow of Ralph Young.

Ruby attended Wesley Chapel Methodist Church and was a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna Phillips and Cheryl Y. Shute, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ruby is preceded in death by her three sons, Joe F. Young, Tom B. Young and John W. Young.

A celebration of Ruby’s life will be at Walden Funeral Home Perryville, Saturday June 16, 2018 from 1:30-4:00 p.m.

A graveside service will follow at 4:15 p.m., at Hillcrest Cemetery in Perryville.
