Wesley “Doc” Gifford
1933-2018
Wesley Christopher “Doc” Gifford, 85, of Danville passed away at VA in Lexington on Friday, June 15, 2018. Born June 15, 1933, he was the son of the late Ethely McKinley and Ida Mae Lanham Gifford.
Wesley was one of six children, three brothers and two sisters, who all preceded him in death. He was a farmer and a retired Farm Manager at Northpoint Training Center. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by two sons, Chris Gifford of Lancaster and Todd Gifford of Lancaster; one daughter, Becky Kincaid of Georgia; four grandchildren: Wesley Connor Gifford, Colin Kincaid, Alesia Sharp and Kaylen Dressler; 11 great grandchildren; and a special friend, Linda Ellis. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren: Jeremy Gifford and Kelli Kincaid; a great grandchild, Brady Kincaid.
