Police blotter, June 15-17

JUNE 15

5:58 a.m., an officer needs to check on the welfare of a man who appears to be in his 40s or 50s who is standing in the road and believes everyone is out to get him.

9:45 a.m., a caller can hear yelling and screaming in the North Sixth Street and Smith Street area; they were just being loud.

10:50 a.m., deputy serving an eviction notice on North First Street; deputy also had to break up a dog fight and an altercation between the owners.

12:53 p.m., papers being served on Baughman Avenue; caller advised the man was hiding in a little building; arrest made.

12:54 p.m., a young child is standing on the sidewalk crying for her mother; child was returned home.

6:09 p.m., a crowbar and other items have been found near the back door at Verizon; extra patrol requested.

6:12 p.m., report of a possible missing female who has dementia; 6:46 p.m., female has been located at her residence in Lincoln County with her family.

7:13 p.m., a suspicious male and female in an older white truck on Stirling Drive have been there about 15 minutes and the female is blowing bubbles from the bed of the truck; female was out of gas.

9:33 p.m., officer checking on the welfare of a female who is crying on the sidewalk on West Shelby Street.

JUNE 16

12:07 a.m., someone just tried to get into the caller’s vehicle on Worldstown Road.

2:13 a.m., an officer is checking on two vehicles that are parked by the soccer fields; a male has lost the keys and they are trying to find them.

3:26 a.m., a 42-year-old male may have overdosed on prescription medication; female caller said he has fled on foot and she didn’t need assistance now; emergency room has been notified.

5:21 a.m., a male who is suicidal and homicidal has fled the emergency room; doctor is requesting to warn family in Lancaster.

5:24 a.m., a male is knocking on doors on Seminole Trail stating he needs help; 5:57 a.m., male was taken to the Mercer County Line and dropped off on foot.

8:04 a.m., a possum is trapped in the house on East Broadway; animal control notified.

9:19 a.m., a truck is on fire on U.S. 150.

1:07 p.m., officers are to be on the lookout for a reckless driver of a maroon truck on Airport Road.

3:14 p.m., two dogs have been left inside a black car at Tractor Supply; contact made with the owner and the dogs are OK.

3:46 p.m., vehicle stop at Fourth and Broadway; arrest made.

4:04 p.m., arrest made near Danville Bistro on Perryville Street.

5:08 p.m., vehicle stop on South Fourth Street; arrest made.

7:17 p.m., a male is trespassing on caller’s property on Tank Pond Road; he is mowing the caller’s yard and the caller is threatening to shoot him.

8:10 p.m., an out-of-control 13-year-old is on the residence’s roof and is refusing to come down.

8:16 p.m., all juveniles who were arrested at the Boyle County Fairgrounds have been released to parents.

8:42 p.m., a physical altercation occurred on North Third Street; the male is intoxicated and both parties assaulted each other; arrest made.

11:33 p.m., officer is requesting to contact a couple on Tennessee Ridge Road in reference to 4- and 7-year-old children who were walking in town with backpacks; someone had kicked them out.

JUNE 17

12:29 a.m., a maroon SUV has been wrecked on Old Hustonville Road and nobody is around; 1 a.m., subject located and said he first wrecked in the first curve on Bonta Lane; arrest made.

1:54 a.m., a verbal altercation is in progress between a father and son on Locust Street; one of them is intoxicated; son has now left for the night.

2:53 a.m., two people in a vehicle parked at Walmart are smoking meth; a female just went inside the store.

10:53 a.m., an officer is requested to contact a man on Briarcliff Lane whose father was in an accident in Lebanon.

11:35 a.m., activated fire alarm at Danville Center for Health and Rehab due to the outside grill being on fire.

11:49 a.m., caller wants her husband arrested for assaulting her; she was referred to the courthouse on Monday for an emergency protective order.

12:21 p.m., a female calling 911 is traveling with a man on Ky. 34 and she doesn’t know where she is; the male only stated they were on their way to Nicholasville; he is threatening to put her out of the car; she wants an officer take her to Nicholasville then the line disconnected; upon call back, she stated she’s in a blue vehicle and she doesn’t know the man’s last name; Garrard County notified.

3:06 p.m., two adult shoplifters are in custody at Walmart.

3:45 p.m., possible burglary in progress on Fitzgerald Road in Junction City; windows are busted and doors are open; a generator is missing from outside; Kentucky State Police notified.

6:10 p.m., a caller is requesting an officer check on the welfare of a tenant who hasn’t been heard from since the first of the month; all storm doors are locked and the landlord is requesting assistance in entering; female was inside and checked out OK.

9:01 p.m., two intoxicated males are causing a disturbance at Applebee’s bar; arrest made.

9:19 p.m., a verbal domestic altercation just occurred in the cinemas’ parking lot; a male caused property damage to the female’s vehicle; she left with him and two babies; caller stated he tried to intervene and the male covered the license plate.

10:34 p.m., an older car is sitting in the middle of Gwinn Island Road with a driver, one passenger and no lights on.
