Charles William Kohler, Jr.

1934-2018

Charles William Kohler Jr., 83, of Lexington, formerly of Danville, passed away on June 30, 2018 at Baptist Health in Lexington.

Charles was born November 10, 1934, in Detroit, Mich., to the late Charles William Kohler, Sr. and Iva Currant Kohler. He was a graduate of Michigan State University and served in the U.S. Coast Guard. While living in Danville, he worked for Jackson of Danville, Marvin Windows, and Northpoint Training Center.

He is survived by his daughter, Julie (Randy) Moser of Danville; sons, Jeff (Lori) Kohler of Parker, Colo., and John (Beth) Kohler of Lexington; a sister, Marilyn Lemak of The Villages, Fla.; three grandchildren, Christian and Katelyn Kohler, Matthew (Tayler) Moser; and great grandchildren, Ryan and Jasen Moser.

The family has requested that contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Raven Run Nature Sanctuary in memory of Charles Kohler, Jr.
