Police blotter July 9-10

JULY 9

6:13 a.m., caller stated a male is in a red car parked off of U.S. 150 and he has drugs on him and he’s under the influence; male checked out OK; he just doesn’t want to deal with the female anymore.
6:39 a.m., two horses and a mule are running out on White Oak Road; animal control notified.
8:49 a.m., caller from Baughman Avenue wants to speak to an officer about a stolen air conditioning unit.
9:04 a.m., investigation at business on West Walnut Street; drugs seized.
9:07 a.m., caller is reporting a dog is locked inside a black car parked on Third Street near the parking garage; the windows are rolled up and the dog is barking; unable to locate.
10:18 a.m., a male is panhandling at the intersection of Hustonville Road and the bypass; he standing in the flowerbed; his sign doesn’t reference any money.
11:30 a.m., caller’s vehicle was damaged in the Walmart parking lot, possibly from a cart.
11:31 a.m., caller is reporting her son’s vehicle was stolen while he has been incarcerated.
2 p.m., a female shoplifter is at Kroger and not causing any problems; she doesn’t have an ID.
2:01 p.m., vehicle stop at Third Street and Lexington Avenue; arrest made.
3:23 p.m., caller isn’t home at the Russell Street residence but is requesting to know if neighbors are trespassing and burning trash on his land.
3:34 p.m., officer with Kentucky State Police arson investigator and ATF at Boone Trail residence.
4:22 p.m., female shoplifter is in custody at Kroger.
5:13 p.m., someone on Adams Street had a small puppy tied up all day without water and it barked all day; the owner came and took the dog inside while the caller was on the phone with police; animal control notified.
6:01 p.m., a female heard screaming at apartment on Hustonville Road; when checking on the subject she was crying and refusing to talk.
7:55 p.m., vehicle stop at Third and Fackler streets; arrest made.
8:11 p.m., a female at the detention center is having seizure-like activity; assistance given.
10:12 p.m., males who are walking on Rosemont Drive are setting off fireworks.
10:30 p.m., vehicle stop at Fourth and Walnut streets; arrest made.
11:17 p.m., fireworks complaint on Cloverdale Drive.
11:37 p.m., driver heading toward Danville on Harrodsburg Road is on the wrong side of the road and is speeding; unable to locate.

JULY 10

12:19 a.m., male inmate is having seizures at the detention center.

5:21 a.m., officers to watch for a juvenile missing from Marion County.

7:57 a.m., a male is sleeping inside a car on Holladay Drive; arrest made.

8:31 a.m., vehicle stop on South Fourth Street; arrest made.

8:51 a.m., someone is trespassing on Warrenwood Manor property.

10:10 a.m., a man answered a 911 call back and said he was trying to buy the phone but didn’t know the number; after speaking to the owner of the phone, she said the phone and car were stolen last night from Harrodsburg.

2:55 p.m., a male wearing only jeans pulled a silver handgun on the caller’s 10-year-old child then left the scene; is is also carrying a knife.

3:16 p.m., caller from Burton Circle is reporting theft of a bicycle and medication.

4:11 p.m., a female at funeral home in Junction City is causing a disturbance and is attempting to assault someone.

4:47 p.m., caller from North Street is reporting someone has been missing for three weeks; probation and parole contacted.

5:17 p.m., female is requesting extra patrol at apartments because the man who assaulted her in March recently got out of jail and didn’t show up for court today; she is afraid he may show up at her residence.

7:26 p.m., a male is causing a disturbance at Elmtree Apartments; arrest made.

8:04 p.m., vehicle stop on Hustonville Road; arrest made.

8:20 p.m., someone in a silver pickup truck is stealing railroad property on Buster Pike.

8:33 p.m., caller is reporting a dispute in progress between a mother and daughter via text messages; 9:40 p.m., mother is on scene trying to force her 19-year-old daughter to come home.

9:30 p.m., males are hiding in the bushes near the fueling station on Perryville Road.

11:33 p.m., subjects are in the neighbor’s pool with a flashlight on High Street; the owner may be out of town.
