Fish and chicken sale Saturday

Hope Full Gospel Church is having a fish and chicken sale Saturday, July 14, starting at 12:30 p.m. The sale will be held at 193 E. Martin Luther King Boulevard, Danville. Call (859) 236-0192 for orders. Rev. Sharon Johnson, pastor.

Widows/widowers ministry meal Sunday

The South District Baptist Associational Widows/Widowers Ministry meal and meeting will be 12:30-2:15 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at Calvary Baptist Church, 214 Lincoln Ave., Danville.

This time of fellowship is open to all regardless of church affiliation or lack of one. Mrs. Nettie Cox, Gethsemane Baptist, will share about her journey.

A time of musical participation will be enjoyed by all. Please RSVP to Dr. Cheryl Erwin at (859) 948-5979 or erwinlexky@hotmail.com to assist the ladies of Calvary Baptist in planning for the meal. Cash donations will be accepted to help cover cost of food.

The Singing Byrds performing Sunday

Charity First Church of God on College Street in Hustonville will be hosting The Singing Byrds on Sunday, July 15 at 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome.

The Chuck Wagon Gang performing Saturday

The Chuck Wagon Gang will be in concert at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at Calvary Hill Baptist Church, 100 John Street, Stanford. Admission is free, but a love offering will be received.

Harris Creek Baptist homecoming

Harris Creek Baptist Church will have a homecoming, Sunday, July 15. Sunday school is at 10 a.m. and the worship service is at 11 a.m., with Randy Douglas preaching. A potluck meal will be served following the morning service, then The Blakeys will be singing. There will not be a Sunday evening service.
